The first one was sold out from under us, basically. But, just up the street, we found THE SAME HOUSE. Same floor plan. Exactly. Same age. Just a few grand cheaper. And vacant. The owners already moved. So, we jumped on it. Made a few offers back and forth and ended up buying it!
Built in 2001. 3 bed, 2 bath. 1,498 square feet. Two-car attached garage and a big fenced in backyard.

Congrats! That's almost the exact description of my house in Austin. I could use something bigger, though, now that I've got three kids. Looks like the lawn could use some help....

I'm not a yard person so it will probably stay the way it is.

Probably wouldn't take much to get it to come back. But if it's not important, screw it.

If your other half does gardening, the lawn is at the perfect starting point for a beautiful flower bed. Just throwing that idea out there. I'm pretty sure you can get the right flowers and spell out Oppo in the current livery.
Now that would be some awesome topiary work!

Our current yard looks the same right now but it's always healthy and green during the summer. I think this type of grass hibernates weirdly.

I'd like to see the evolution of oil and other fluid stains on that (now) picture perfect concrete driveway over the next few years.

Was the playground, shed, and front porch furniture already there when you bought it? Just curious since I've seen some local houses sold here when seller will just pass on certain neat extras to the next owner.

These are all listing photos. It's vacant, now. They still lived there when they took the pictures but they're gone now. The playground and trampoline are still there but hopefully they'll take them. We have no kids and don't plan to for a few years at least, so we don't need them. If they don't take 'em, they'll be for sale.

Thank you. :) It's a good size. Perfect fit for my wife's CX-5 and my 3. And there's a brand new spread building in the backyard where the lawn mower and leaf blower can go. So, the garage is ALL car stuff. I'm so excited.

Honestly, my current house's yard looks like that right now and it is always healthy and green in the summer. I think grass hibernates oddly around here. I'd imagine this yard will look better in the summer.

Has the roof been redone yet? at 15 years old depending on your climate and the quality of the shingles that are on there, you'll probably need to have it re done soon.

Roofs last a minimum of 30 years around here, usually. It has the same type of roof as my grandparents' and theirs is about 26.
